{ RESOURCES: Anxiety }
Anxiety is a normal
reaction to stress. It helps us to cope with tense situations
at work, keep focused on imprtant tasks and allows us to recognize
situations that might be troublesome. When anxiety becomes
an excessive, irrational dread of everyday situations, triggers
panic and phobias, or causes obsessive and complusive behavior,
it becomes disabling.
