Our
style combines a blend of therapies including EMDR,
Lifespan Integration, Art & Expressive Therapy, Somatic Therapies, Integrative Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy, Equine Assisted Psychotheray and Mindfulness Training in order to assist clients
in gaining greater awareness & connection with others,
themselves and in the world.
We
offer a holistic approach to
psychotherapy, which is a philosophy characterized by the
treatment of the whole person, taking into account the mind, body and spirit, rather than just the physical symptoms.
Holistic is defined by comprehension of the parts of something
as intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference
to the whole person.

Individual Therapy
The goals of therapy are determined collaboratively by client
and therapist at the beginning of treatment. Our goal to help
clients achieve a greater sense of well-being, improved intimacy
in relationships with others and themselves, healthy boundaries,
improved self-esteem, authentic communication, a reduction in
self-sabotaging behaviors, and a sense of trust in themselves
and their happiness in the world.

Couples & Family
Therapy
When problems occur within a relationship or
family, it is important to examine the problem as a symptom of
a larger systemic issue. Change cannot occur in isolation if
the change is to endure over time. In couples and family therapy,
dynamics are explored to create change, restore balance, harmonize
relationships, set proper boundaries, develop skills and resources,
and improve the overall level of communication, connection, and
trust.
Being a part of a successful couple involves
a lot of compromise, and this can be very challenging
at times. We assist couples explore relationship issues and communication
patterns, create a greater awareness of each partners patterns,
evaluate expectations, increase connection and enhance intimacy.

Child, Teen & Parenting
Therapy
Individual therapy for children and teens is often much different
from adult therapy. Since children have a more difficulty
verbally communcating feelings, it is important to provide an environment
to explore these feelings safely using play, art, sandtray, equine
assisted psychotherapy, and other expressive techniques. Teens
are striving for a balance between dependence and independence,
and often have a difficult time understanding and expressing their
confusing needs. We assist parents in improving communication,
setting boundaries, and coping with conflicts.
We address numerous children’s and teen’s
issues including: separation anxiety, ADHD, acting out,
fears and phobias, sibling issues, bed-wetting, anger and aggression,
discipline, behavioral issues, self-esteem, depression, and anxiety.
